Sealcoat extends the life of asphalt.
Asphalt pavement is essentially made up of rock, oil and sand. The oil within asphalt holds the rock and sand together. With time the oil diffuses, and when the oil begins to lose its ability to bond, asphalt pavement unravels or deteriorates.
Exposure to extreme elements, such as our record-setting summers and freezing winter temperatures, mixed with lots of Oregon rain, makes even tougher conditions for asphalt pavement in the Oregon climate.
Sealcoat is a liquid protectant for asphalt. Sealcoating your asphalt pavement will re-condition your asphalt with the oils it needs to continue to stick together. Sealcoating protects your pavement from the elements, ensuring your pavement lasts longer than it would without the protection of sealcoating. The increased curb appeal is a bonus!
